UNICEF interviews combine the UNICEF competency framework with values-based questions on child rights, equity and safeguarding.

UNICEF uses a competency framework built around core values (Care, Respect, Integrity, Trust, Accountability, Sustainability) and core competencies such as Drives to achieve results, Builds and maintains partnerships, and Thinks and acts strategically. Panels ask behavioural questions and score against indicators.
